My 85 year old mother and I sell mostly outside plants in front of our home in the summer. We have lots of fun meeting new plant people in our community. We get a lot of people dropping off plant when we are not home. This arrowhead was left last summer and I love it but I'm not sure what to do with it or what type it is. It has a lot of new leaves coming out so I know it's doing pretty good but it has also had a few leave turn brown. It's in the same pot it came in and it has no drain holes so I'm very careful about watering it. I would love any advice/help you plant lovers can offer me. Thanks

It’s a syngonium podophyllum white butterfly. It’s very hardy. It looks like it’s trying to find more light. They thrive in very bright indirect light. Mine loves morning east light or southern filtered light. My first thought was yours need cutting up into sections with nodes and leaves. Place each cutting in water. You can put them in pots after the roots reach 2-3 inches. I fertilize as soon as the roots appear. You will have several plants to sell by spring. My photo shows several cuttings placed in a 12 inch pot getting morning light. There is Osmocote fertilizer beads in it so it’s a darker green.

Very beautiful thanks for the info and help. I wasn't sure if I should cut it when it has new growth coming. It's about 2 feet from the window, I will try to move it closer.

You can cut it anytime. They grow faster in the spring and summer seasons. Growth slows in colder months.

It's a white butterfly! They tough it out pretty well, but I'd definitely recommend reporting to something with drainage though
