I shoved mine in a light ish spot in my house and then water it like every other time plants tells me to based on the soil dryness and she seems to be doing ok 😂

DeeI have a baby rubber plant and I let her dry out between waterings! Super easy to care for 😀

It’s in a bright indirect spot and has been for years! In ambient humidity as well

I’m not trying to be rude here, but I’d like to point out that a baby rubber plant is actually a different species than ficus rubber plants, which this post is about, and they need different care

Yup! I’m aware! That’s why I mentioned I have a baby rubber plant - not claiming it’s the same species but I’ve cared for the “rubber plants” the same way in the past. Thanks for your input!

KaseI have one, I threw it in my bathroom and water it/mist it whenever I happen to remember and it’s doing great 😂

The top one started as a 6in pot. That’s how much growth it has given me in a year. I had it in an east facing window, in a south facing sunroom.

YinDeezyThey need lots of light to grow full. I have a burgundy and two moonshines outside. They get bright indirect light and about 4 hours of midday sun.
