    There's nothing to fear! As long as you don't use ice cubes and keep the crown dry

    beware of the "death plug", oftentimes when you get them from places like grocery stores they have compacted peat around the center of the roots. you want to get that off asap. it probably already has rot and leaving the peat plug there will cause more rot. people will tell you not to repot while they're blooming but i do it all the time and i've never had any trouble with the blooms dying because of it 🤷‍♂️

      Oh ok. I definitely bought this at the grocery store lol I was planning on repotting it this weekend after it got acclimated to the space that I’m going to keep it in my home and then I was definitely planning on repotting in orchid bark
