Hi! I’ve been a plant parent for a few years, but I’ve been starting to expand my collection recently. I’ve been reading about different fertilizer options and was hoping for some advice on specific brands. My plants are all indoor, most are less than 6 inches tall. I have a 2.5 foot elephant ear and a 1 foot ficus (not sure if that makes a difference for type of fertilizer). I’m looking for something budget friendly, but I’d prefer it to be a more natural non-toxic option if possible. Anyone have any good indoor fertilizer recommendations for me to try? Thanks!

I use foxfarm big bloom. It’s got a red label with a fox on it in case I got the name wrong. My plants absolutely thrive with that stuff. I like to fertilize once every one to two months depending on the plants.

For indoor plants, I only use synthetic fertilizers. You get less bug problems without Organics. I use osmocote as my slow release and I supplement feed with liquid soluble honestly whatever I have handy. I like sea grow a lot as a brand but I put the plants outside after using it so the sun can help it absorb a bit before I bring it in other wise you’ll get bugs (unless you use the all purpose mix that’s just a blue mix)
