First picture is end of January this year; second is end of August. This plant has more than doubled in size and is growing faster than I can find new places to fit it, after months of leaf loss and stagnant growth. I didn’t become way better with plants in that period; the main changes were that I removed the plug around its roots and gave it a grow light. If you’re ever feeling bad about a plant not doing well, try to remember two things: - People with “green thumbs” are mostly just people with big south-facing windows - Plants are resilient and can come back, even if you’ve been too busy or depressed or stressed out to give the best care.
