How do I care for basil? She was up and perky at the store but now she’s droopy 😩

    give it high amounts of light (so put it right in that windowsill) and water relatively frequently. my suggestion is to get a moisture meter (only about $10) and water when the soil is between being bone dry and super wet. basil likes its soil to stay somewhat moist

    I agree^ I had one once upon a time & I had to constantly remind myself to water at least 1x/2-3 days. Safe to say as an underwaterer it didn’t last long 🤣

    I just threw mine out the pot and into the woods the other day 😂 I under watered as well!

    But yes , some bright light but not too much so it doesn’t burn, more indirect light. Then keep the soil moist but not soggy and never completely dry. Should be happy :)

    You might also want to check if it’s rootbound
