Any opinions on these plant shelves if they work? Hard to believe they would stay in place with just suction cups…

I did a lot of research on these a while ago, decided not to get them as everything I found said they’d fall off within a few days/weeks. Didn’t really feel like coming home to a bunch of broken plants 👎🏻
3 Mi piaceMy mom has them in her kitchen window and they seem to work great. BUT, she has lightweight fake plants in them so that’s not a real test.
1 mi piaceI was also concerned about them letting go after a few weeks. So to avoid the worry, I ordered the kind that hang down from top of window frame.

there are ones that have supports on the bottom that also suction cup and i’ve never had one of those fall on me but without the support you’re gonna be cleaning up so much soil. this one holds my variegated string of hearts and you can see the two little arms of support. hope this helps! they’re on amazon
1 mi piaceSUCTION CUPS NOOOO! I have 2 “propagation stations” (that’s what I named them). They are both hung on windows by the suction cup that the each came with. And they have each un-suctioned themselves and crashed down several times, breaking glass vials and throwing my precious props and water on the ground. And like a chimp I just hang it back up with the suction cup. So yeh, I don’t recommend storing your plants on anything held by suction cup to glass unless you have some new, patent pending GOOD suction cup!
