So I cut the jade in half like a month or two ago and it hasn’t done anything. Have I done something wrong??

The leaves are wrinkled which usually indicates not enough water..
2 LikesThere’s been no new growth. Or sign of new growth . I’ll water it today.
1 LikeIt may take a long time or you cut it in the wrong place and that may be why there's no new growth or you need more light.. sorry i am not good with succulents. I've got a jade but i don't do anything to it but water it lol
1 Likeit usually takes a while for new shoots to come up, but you might want to repot it. it looks like you are using only perlite which doesnt really hold water at all, and while yes succulents do like to be more dryed out, they do still need water especially in these hot summer months. maybe try repotting it in a 50/50 soil and pearlite mix and see how it goes.
1 LikeThe perlite is on top. Had a Gnat problem and I used that instead of sand. It’s potted in Mothers Nature soil. I cutt the plant right above a node :/
0 LikesI cut this one about 2 months ago and it has started showing signs of new growth. I water only when dry and it is in a NW facing window that gets filtered light. It was my 4th prop from my OG Jade and it was getting too tall, my hope is that it will branch into 2 stems from the cut. So far so good! 🫶🏽
1 LikeI’m so jealous I can’t get mine to do anything
0 LikesDon’t give up! It could be bc of the pot size. They grow faster, larger when they are tighter in the pot. I start my newbies in a smaller pot (like the small one in the pic. There is a smaller plastic pot inside).
