How do you know when its time to put the cuttings in soil? I have a spider plant cutting and some pothos cuttings

    Once the roots have roots, when you can see the small roots that grow off those first roots that are there

    I always wait until the roots are at least 2-3 inches

    I wait until there is a lot of roots because it never hurts to wait longer, but if they’re not established enough, the plant won’t make it. I’m new to Plants right now, but when I was a kid, I had tons of plants always growing from clippings from my mother’s plants so I’m not exactly new to that.

      Yeah, i have had some experience where i put them in soil too early and it never took
