    Welcome! I personally repot if roots are out the bottom that much. BUT, I’m not an old hand at this either. Definitely wait for more responses, lol. I want to see them too 😆

    I would check it out! There are times that stray roots get stuck outside of the drainage holes, but this looks excessive.

    Violets are perennial, at least here in zone 5 they are. You could put it in the ground. But don't forget they tend to be a little invasive.

      unfortunately i’m a recent college grad in an apartment so i don’t have any land to put it in 😕 one day though!!!
