It's kind of a cinnamon spice scent. I've also seen it described as jasmine-like, but I'm not familiar with jasmine. It's most fragrant at night, and you do have to get pretty close to the flowers to smell it

It may not be the prettiest of my plants but she’s the oldest and I would be heartbroken if something happened to her. She grows weird and wonky because I have trimmed her so wrong through the years when I had no ideas what I was doing! She’s 26! It was formerly a Schlefflera but, they have been reclassified to Heptapleurum.
