hi world ! My name is Na’kerea and I Just recently got a Pachira aquatica ( Money tree ) this is my first plant and I just really want to take care of her ! I’ve already named her vaylani and I talk to her already ! I don’t want to repot her and I want to keep her in the same soil and I HATE BUGS please give me any advice or tips … Here’s some pictures I took of vaylani so far !

1 me gustaShe's your only plant so I would suggest keeping her in good lighting, bottom water with Mosquito bit tea with a little neem oil and castille peppermint soap to possibly get rid of any bugs in the substrate. Absolutely LOVE my money tree (Minnie). Definitely an underrated plant for sure!
5 Me gustaAlso, take note of the heaviness of the pot when it's dry and again when it's fully hydrated. That way you'll know when to bottom water again

This is an excellent hot tip right here! Knowing the weight of damp soil vs dry will be very helpful!
4 Me gusta Arber makes a good insecticide that you mix with water in a spray bottle if you need to battle gnats or anything like that.

Fairly new but I removed the ribbon from mine to help mine grow more and she has significantly!

i just got one today and she is my 30th plant no name yet
What I did was get these little shape fly trap like they came in stars and heart and stuff like that to get rid of the ones flying around than I went in with an alcohol neam oil and water mix and I just had to shake it up before use
