Does anybody use grow lights for indoor plants in the UK? I have pothos, monstera and ZZs and im worried there wont be enough light for the next few months

RositaI do, my living room has a shady corner I've put a load of plants behind and given them grow lights. Sheffield made plants on YouTube talks a lot about his grow lights. Your pothos might be alright though, I've managed to keep mine happy without a huge amount of light.

KarzdanI follow someone on YouTube who lives in the UK. He swears by grow lamps. I recently moved to the Pacific North West, which is close to the same latitude, and grow lights here are a must. But honestly, everyone needs them in the house unless they have massive windows or sun rooms. Less sun in winter is fine as the plants will go dormant and get the rest they need.

We live in Oregon USA and while it’s not the UK our fall- early spring are pretty gloomy. We have grow lights in every area where there are plants and humidifiers too. While we prefer our home to stay cooler than most in the winter and warmer than others in summer the humidifiers are a necessity due to indoor heating and air conditioning.

I’ve got all of my plants in my office and with a big tree on the front yard that can block some daytime sun, or if it’s a particularly gray/rainy week I’ll run the grow light overnight for a little extra boost
