My whale fin is losing its color and is almost completely yellow. I repotted it and it wasn’t overly wet, so I don’t think it’s been overwatered. Any thoughts?! I’ve had it about 5 years and have already given away 3 pups!

    Could be lack of light?

Normally the yellow is caused by overwatering. You said the soil was not overly wet, the soil should be totally dry between waterings. And a cactus/ succulent soil mix, which looks like you may already be using. As for light, that should be very bright light. Morning sun would be great, not afternoon sun.

Thanks! I’m going to try to dry it out.

So strange! I have a whale fin too and it’s pretty dark. I’d say too much light maybe?
