I got a Calathea Network, Black Velvet, Elephant Staghorn, Partytime, Alocasia Dark Star, & a Calathea Ornata. They were little but honestly the damage was minimal. I’ve rehabed far worse from Lowe’s. Just a little damage to the leaves. I potted them up and they’ve all been doing great since!

LOVE the half moons! Lol I got my thai con for $100 in May 2022 😅 Well at least it’s huge now lol. I’ve definitely enjoyed it all that time ☺️ Did you get the albo TC? 👀

Maybe next time on the albo lol! I do admire seeing that. I definitely have a longer wait but she’s treating me well so far. Here it is… the tiniest little guy but I’m excited about the process! Have you seen latest episode of OnlyPlants?

😱 so exciting!!! I was eyeing those spirituses too, but I’ve never tried a TC plantlet before. I probably have enough skill to try it at this point, but I would be so sad if I failed on a wishlist plant. If I had a bunch of fun money though, I would try a few and their new red moon philodendron starters too lol I actually hadn’t heard of OnlyPlants, but I googled it and I’m subscribing now 😂

Omygosh I have so much to say haha! Wish there was an option for private chat so I don’t feel monopolizing 🫣 First of all, if you want to try TC, I know you got this. Disinfected working area and tweezers if needed, clean hands, 1/3 each of coco coir, coco chunks and perlite (I use fine pumice), sterilized pot and 100% humidity. I checked but couldn’t find a P. red moon starter on the site. Maybe user error lol. I’m glad you subbed! I think you’ll like Sean. He’s sweet, funny and genuine.

Yeah, sometimes I like the barebones nature of the community page compared to more of a Reddit-style forum. But I do wish there was just a liiiittle more to it for making connections You’re right, I don’t see it now either 🤔 I either confused the variegated red congo for it, or saw it on a different site and misremembered. I’m still excited by the new TC offerings these days though! 2020 me could never imagine these being available 😂 I’m sure I’ll give in to the temptation eventually lol. But I like when I don’t have to worry too much about sanitization and optimal conditions. Of course, there’s always good practices if you want to keep your plants healthy, but I find it more enjoyable for me when I don’t have to run a plant ICU lol. But maybe I’m overthinking it! Maybe it’s not that serious… maybe I need a spiritus! 😂

Reddit can be great comic relief 😆 Just a little overthinking 😊 It’s only the initial startup to set yourself up for success but I totally get it. If a plant is too fussy, pest prone and doesn’t love me back, I won’t keep it.
