Does my peace lily need to be repotted? A bit new to this whole plant thing, but I’ve had her for about a month and it seems to me that she’s getting a bit large for her nursery pot.

since she’s in a plastic nursery pot still it should be easy for you to pop her out to take a peek at her roots! i would wait till the soil is a bit dry so it’ll be less messy. massage the pot & try to pop the whole thing out in one piece. if you see more roots than soil on the edges that might mean she’s ready for a repot. looks like that’s a 4 inch nursery pot so i would go with a 5 or 6 inch pot max. hope that’s helpful! good job with her so far!
1 j'aimei would repot for sure. these do what i like to think of as “quiet propagation” — they spread until there’s no space and then begin to suffer for it. You probably have at least three plants in there right now. No need to separate if you unpot this, but if you wanted to you could. and eventually you’ll need to 😎✌🏻
0 J'aimeNeeds to be repotted into a larger pot with good draining soil with pearlite. I’d trim back the plant to healthy stems too
