Such a beautiful plant! I have one too. I’m not an expert, but mine grows very fast. It loves bright indirect light and high humidity. If you don’t have a humidifier, occasional misting can still help a little. The soil should be very airy — bark, perlite, coco coir, and a bit of sphagnum moss work well, since it likes slightly moist soil and doesn’t like drying out completely. Many people grow them on a moss pole or support. I personally like the vine look more, but the leaves usually stay smaller without support.
1 j'aimeThank you , I was thinking about placing her on a moss pole to climb up . She is going to be sitting right by the window and she is loving the light so far so can’t wait to see how she do , (:
1 j'aimeAnd if the air around it is humid too, with sunlight and slightly moist moss pole, it will very soon thank you with big beautiful leaves 🌿
1 j'aimeNice to know , I know my Thai’s are outside and they love it
1 j'aimeThese are my favorites! I have tons of them and first thing I would recommend is you might repot it. Nurseries are notorious for putting lots of starts in a single pot to make them look full but then you get each plant competing for resources. (My first pot had 9 plants in it so I split them into 3 pots and they are much happier now.) and Yara is exactly right…they like chunky airy soil so roots get air circulation AND moisture. Her recommendation for potting mix is spot on!
2 J'aimeThank you so much I would have to try that instead of my usual Tropical mix . So far looking at her seems like it’s 2 in 1 but I can totally be wrong . I’m def excited to repot her and see how many she actually is (:
