0 Me gustaI use mostly Sansi lights for all my plants because I have no windows that get sun in my house. I have a whole wall of sansi lights. They will work great, you just need to make sure the plants are close enough to it to receive the benefit. They need to be fairly close unless you have like a commercial light.
1 me gustaThank you!! do you take any precautions for how hot the light gets?
0 Me gustaSince they are LED lights they shouldn’t put off any heat. Incandescent lights use heat to produce light but LEDs do not. The bulb sometimes will be hot to the touch if I wanted to unscrew it right after I turn it off though. I use a meter to see how many PPFD it’s putting off at the level of the plant. It dies off quite drastically within a couple feet. Sansi’s website will also give you info on how far to place from your plant There is a good article online if you search for “Unlikely Gardener grow lights” as this app won’t let me post any links
