New plant parent here and my money tree was so full when I first got it but I did notice some rotting leaves here and there but couldn’t figure out why. Now this is what it’s looking like and the soil is looking gray in some areas at the top. I try to water once a week especially in the summer or when the dirt feels dry. Luckily, I have some baby leaves coming in but this plant is definitely not as full as it once was 🥹 any recommendations would be wonderful 🫶🏼🌱💸

It looks like the perlite or amendments that are in the soil have floated up to the top. It happens over time with watering. You could look at its roots to make sure there isn’t any rot and add new soil around the plant.
