Advice welcome!! I found scale on my monstera on Sunday this week : just a couple adults, no babies! I’m so paranoid, I picked them all off and used insecticidal soap top to bottom. I’m thinking of also repotting with fresh soil just to be extra safe - is that necessary or am I going into panic mode too soon? I just love this plant and don’t want her to die 😭

No need to repot. Keep an eye on it and do another spray down in about a week just to be sure. Watch the inside of the petioles too as they like to be sneaky and hide there.

Down the road if it gets bad there’s always pesticides.

I found some on my ficus bonsai. And spraying daily with a mix of dawn dish soap and water has helped a lot. I did that for about 3-4 days, and then let them rest. I also washed it off after about an hour so the mix doesn’t stay on the leaves. No need to repot.
