     Really? I’ll have to read up on that, just for curiosity’s sake. I haven’t eaten aloe, but I’ve heard it’s used in drinks in food in several cultures. That being said, there might be different varieties for eating vs ornamental, since a lot of plants are like that

   It’s not going to hurt it. If you get a burn or something a long those lines please use your aloe! That’s the point!
