Plant suggestions, please! My plant shelves are under this ancient heating contraption and I think it’s affecting some of my plants. Therefore, I’m thinking of moving some of the plants and getting new ones that won’t be as affected by the heater. Any suggestions? My snake plant is doing great even though it’s probably getting the most heat so I’m looking for similar plants that also won’t wilt/die when we turn on the heat.
i think most fleshy succulants/cacti wont mind as they are typically from more hot, airid reigons. i think a quick google search could give you some more varieties, but a golden barrel cactus, other kinds of snake plants, maybe some haworthias seem like they might be ok. my one concern would be if the cacti are getting enough light up there 🌱

I'd put a thermometer just under the vent to see how hot the air gets, then research plants whose temperature ranges are high enogh. Because it really depends on species :)
4개 좋아요 You can buy a hygrometer/thermometer combo for cheap online. Really useful for making sure temp and humidity are in the right ranges
