I have had little to no growth in this baby for months.. I’m new to this so any suggestions help! I have a consistent water schedule + is in a good spot where it gets a bit of sun every day. But nothing direct! Once I got it to where it liked lighting wise it got a lot more green back in its leaves but its growth remains stagnant! Thank you for any help friends🪴
The pot looks way too big for the plant, because of the pot size it’s now trying to establish and grow more roots instead of pushing out new leaves, also risk of root rot as too much soil and not enough roots will trap moisture, definitely downsize the pot 1 or 2 sizes

Agree about the pot. You can get cheap little pots at Walmart for three dollars or less. It’s also recommended to use chunky well- draining soil consisting of 50% potting soil and then 25% perlite and 25% orchid bark with maybe a little bit of plant charcoal mixed in. If that’s too big of an investment for one plant maybe you can just get a small amount of perlite to mix in. Be careful not to overwater as it’s probably more common to kill a new plant by overwatering and underwater Ing. For now to keep the soil from being too wet too long and suffocating the roots you can use something shaped like a chopstick to poke holes in the soil, so it doesn’t stay wet for so long. Good luck!

0 likesAgree with others - my girl grows best when I keep her a little snug in her pot. When you do water, make sure you have really good drainage and fertilize periodically (the Planta schedule works fine for mine). Mine does get direct sun for a few hours each day but I’d continue with your indirect until it’s a little bigger and you can slowly acclimate it to more direct light. 🥰
At very least a much shallower pot is necessary for peperomia. You risk root rot if the soil stays too wet but in a deeper pot like that, the tiny root ball probably dries out too fast because gravity steals moisture for all the rest of the soil. The mix looks chunky enough to me, but getting the water right where it needs to be is probably the biggest issue. Once he’s got enough moisture, I think a little more light would make him happier too.
If no pot you can also cut the bottom off a soda cup from fast food. Poke some holes in bottom. That’s always y quick fix until they grow. Also this plant for me is a slow grower. So maybe that could be it also. Just patience 😊

I have the exact same one, mine is about 2x larger than yours but in a 4” pot. I have the same issue, no growth. Mine sits in a bright powerful grow light, watered and fertilized often, but it stays small and upset. Its roots are all through the pot so I know it’s not just trying to finish filling the pot.

Hi, just make sure the plant growers haven’t put a cloth or something around the roots to bound growth. I just bought a baby monstera from a garden centre and when I repotted it had to pull off a little bit of cloth which was holding the roots all together !
