Hi everyone!! I just rescued this poor little rosemary. It took a long fall off my neighbors patio, and, after sitting for several days with no one to come and grab it, I decided to rescue it myself. Its pot was shattered, so I replanted it. I’ve never cared for rosemary before. It’s in a weird loop pattern, supported by ties and an iron bar. Should I untie this? Or is it ok to be kept growing in this circle?

It’s more of a shrub so it’ll outgrow that shape quickly unless you prune it regularly. All my rosemary plants are more like bushes. They’re pretty easy plants though. Mine are outside in the ground and I only water when it’s really dry out.

I don't think there shaper will matter, eventually it'll start sprouting straight around it. If it hasn't gone woody, you could probably just remove it from that loop and it's grow normal. Mines in a pot, but I'm the same was as Chantelle, I only end up watering mine in summer, they dry out pretty quickly, and do not scorching sun.

This is a bonsai rosemary. And the bar is a bonsai rod to make it that shape.
