POLL! What plants are your 1) Best? 2) Worst? 3) Wishlist? ME! 1) BEST: calatheas, prayer plants, money tree, and most peperomia. My string of turtles is doing so well so far. 2) WORST: I just can’t keep peperomia pepperspot or ruby cascade alive 3) I would love to have a monstera but I don’t have a space for such a large plant. My wishlist of plants I will probably buy soon are a pin-stripe calathea ornata, a prayer plant with red in the leaves and a calathea orbifolia.

    1. Best: Peace lily, Zz plant, pothos of any kind, wandering dudes (even nanouk!), and sunflowers! 2. Worst: Succulents and cacti; I can’t keep them dry enough. I still try my best! Mostly string of things and some less hardy types similar to the latter. 3. Wishlist: Monstera for sure, more cacti, more everything! I want to own calatheas without killing them, I haven’t tried yet!

    1. Best: Philodendron, Pothos, Chinese Money plants, Zz plant, and any succulent or cacti (I ignore my succulents for months at a time and somehow that works.) 2. Worst: Rubber plant, baby rubber plant, and Audrey Ficus. They just keep loosing their leaves, it’s getting a bit better though. 3. Wishlist: 100% more philodendron. There are so many types and im pretty good at caring for them. I really want a philodendron Brazil or philodendron micans. (My jade pothos looks like it has a filter over it lol)

Best and favorites would be soh, euphorbia, specifically aeruginosa and crown of thorns, brazilian edelweiss, hoya, oxalis, monstera, sunflowers, and my favorite scent, madagascar jasmine, but they can be nitpicky, simple to get down once you got it. Worst: eucalyptus (unfortunately, but its also a wishlist plant i cant keep it alive tho), calathea, dieffenbachia, and alocasia. Wishlist to name just a few? Ofc eucalyptus maybe one day, Lifesaver plant or some type bc i find them fascinating but ik the blooms stink, and butterwort.

I love the smell of eucalyptus oil. Do the plants smell like it? Now I want one, too!

When rubbed or trimmed yes, but they have a tendency to crisp. Ive tried a few times but they are so sensitive to drafts, over/underwatering, humidity levels, etc. Also sensitive to at home pest sprays so definitely gotta be gentle and very careful with the mixes.

I have a ton of bests. I’ve killed a pepperspot but my ruby cascade loves me. My wishlist is a yellow fusion calathea and maybe some rare scindapsus I don’t have. Don’t have a ton of room for much more so have to be way more selective.
