Hi! So I got one of those “eco cups” systems as a gift and you’re supposed to be able to grow an orchid tree. I followed the instructions and after about 4 weeks I am seeing this. I can’t find any pictures online of what it SHOULD look like… to me this looks like something else has taken over (mould, fungus?) but I wanted to be sure! Any help appreciated! (The other seed - bottom - is definitely mouldy.)

    i’m not familiar with the system, but they definitely look moldy :/ in my experience those grow from seed things tend to want you to water WAY too much and mold takes over fast. wish i could be of more help :(

      That’s ok! I had just never seen any particular mold that looked like that before! 😆 I never expect much from those kits.
