I AM SO SICK!!! Of having to take a loss to my plants because of these growers with these darn rubber bands 😡couldn’t figure out why my Hawaiian pothos went from 6 leaves to only two.. well today when I decided to finally down size the pot in hopes to promote growth again I found out 🙄🙄😡 man I hope it bounces back and start growing instead of dying 😡

some people don’t recommend repotting as soon as you bring it home but it’s essential for me now. you never know what critters are in the soil and they do stuff like that to your plants and you have no idea they’re there until you repot. i found lots of netting in my new ficus the other day. who knows how much damage that could’ve caused.

IMO they’re gonna go through shock of a new environment when they come home so waiting to repot is like shocking them twice

I agree with both of you! I repotted a snake plant and they had it in connected plastic devices to make them stand up and stay together. I freed them from their prison and they are both vertical without the contraption and seem happy!!

I agree. When I first came across the netting, I thought maybe it dissolves. Now I know better. Fingers crossed it'll bounce back.

It’s beginning to work my last nerves. I know it is recommended to not disturb the roots too much however, with this foolishness I now have no choice 🙄

I got an alocasia that was packed in some kind of moss that inexplicably stayed sopping wet for two weeks of no watering. Must be decent for traveling, but i gave it some sphagnum instead
