Started my 1st terrarium!!
Yay! I have one too but don’t feel like I know how to care for it! Have you figured out how to tell this Planta app that the plant is in a terrarium?
2件のいいねCare for small terrariums is pretty simple. They only need watering very rarely because they stay so humid (like it's possible to go an entire year without water. Watch the soil for when it needs it.) Remove any old leaves whenever they fall off the plants. The glass will normally fog up in the morning, but if it stays foggy longer than you want, you can "burp" it (open the lid and let it get fresh air for an hour or two). It's a good idea to have an inorganic drainage layer at the bottom (usually perlite, gravel, or pon/leca). The drainage layer prevents the soil from sitting in stagnant moisture if you add too much water. Without one, just be careful not to overwater. The most likely problem you might encounter is mold/root rot if the soil stays too wet
