best way to get rid of tiny(like the size of a fleck of dust) black jumping bug??? i was pulling dead leaves off of my plant and set it down and saw what i thought was dirt falling off, but then realized it was these micro black bugs that jump.
I have a spray bottle with water & rubbing alcohol (can't remember the mix, maybe 50/50?) handy to knock out those clusters before they get too big

Sounds like thrips. You can use what Taylor suggested but don’t let the spray get on hardwood floors because it’ll strip the floor. Make sure you’re outside when you do it. You can also take Dawn dish soap and mix with water. Apply for a few days. Rinse it off after an hour so that it doesn’t stay on the leaves. Then repeat the next day.
