Hi! I just rescued this plant. I’m not sure from my research if it’s a Rubber plant variegated or a Jellie plant peperomia. I was wondering if someone could give some advice of how to take of her. I gave her new soil about two weeks ago and watered her yesterday with some plant food.

    It’s a jelly. I got one myself.

I got mine about the size in your picture August last year. Here she is now. I follow planta schedule.

It looks like you may be overwatering. And Jellie normally has more red along the edges. Which means it needs more light. It has the thick leaves to hold moisture so watering should not happen till the pot is almost totally dry. They also do best with a fast draining soil. Succulent cactus soil is best. From what I can see, your soil may be too organic. Add some perlite to make it faster draining.

Nice! I’m quite confident that I have killed a pereromia plant or two from overwatering & incorrect soil. I have one now that belongs to my mom and half of it was already dead before I removed the remaining half and placed her in a smaller pot to see if she can survive. I will now go back and change out her soil and definitely always follow my plan to schedule. She’s loaded and ready to go! Thank you for sharing that advice @Phil!
