I think she needs an upgrade on the pole but how do I do it šŸ„² Like getting the roots out isnā€™t the problem actually but how do I put them back

    Unless the problem is that the pole is too thin, I would just add another pole on the top of the original one. Not sure how you would attach it though.

    Put a taller pole behind it and strap them together, but buy poles that can be extended going forward so you only have to double up once

    That coconut coir pole is likely hollow inside, you might be able to saw off the top and make it stackable

      Ye itā€™s a hollow one. Only thing is both poles I have are the same size so I canā€™t just stack them. The bigger one is 70cm and would be the last one it has but tbf I do wanna go to a moss pole instead. This pole seemed massive when I first added it. I really didnā€™t think about future Emmy problems with this šŸ˜‚

    I have mine on real moss poles. I had a pink princess philodendron that had a coconut coir pole at the store and it had rooted around the pole and I verrrrrrrrry carefully peeled the roots off and put the plant on a real moss pole that I can extend and then used a chopstick to poke holes into the moss and gently guided the roots into the new moss. Not sure if it will be successful but I donā€™t like the coir so I took the risk.

      Ye mines rooted atm but they arenā€™t deep so I think itā€™ll be easy getting them off cus Iā€™ll just cut the pole up as I go šŸ˜‚ it was the reattach to the new upgrade I didnā€™t know how to do but the chop stick way seems most likely to work! Sheā€™s more than happy on the pole tbf but kinda out growing it now soooo itā€™s time for the new home šŸ˜‚

      Dont force the roots into the moss, if they prove to be difficult, you can lay them across the surface and they will find their way into the moist substrate
