Hey! I’m just wondering how people typically help with humidity for their plants? I live in Colorado so it’s very dry and humidity trays don’t work very well because most of my plants are hanging. I’d also prefer not to use a humidifier. Is misting ok? I’ve heard conflicting opinions about whether or not they’ll develop a fungus from it.

I would recommend not misting for various reasons. Really a humidifier is your best bet, the humidity in the room needs to be higher, your plants don’t need to be wet. You can cluster your plants together and that can help a bit.

Humidifiers are fine as long as there is circulation to keep the air moving

Misting leaves large water droplets on the plant that takes longer to dry than the fine water vapor produced by humidifiers. Larger drops can support mold and other fungi. You can get a small cold water temperature humidifier and place it near the plants. The alternative is to put all the plants needing higher humidity in a cabinet (IKEA) or other confined water proof space with adequate ventilation and lighting. It can get expensive depending on the setup.

I use a humidifier. Even when my daughter is sick. I put plants in the room while hers is going. They have little ones you can buy on Amazon.
