I love plants

🪴HELP!!!!!!!!!🪴 I got this plant from Walmart a week ago. I repotted it the day I got it (its roots were coming out of the drainage holes). At first the app said it was overwatered so when I repotted it I didn’t water it but now it’s drooping. So I asked the app and it said it’s probably just transplant shock and this happened because I didn’t water it after I repotted it. All and any help is much appreciated!!!! Thank you and I hope you all have a great day!!!!🪴🌱🩷 Two days ago👇 Today👇

as much as i hate to agree with an ai algorithm, it is correct. it's transplant shock, as well as shock from the environmental changes. your house is definitely not the same conditions as the store you bought it from, so it needs time to adjust.

Waffle plants love water!! So it may be a little bit of both(under watering and shock)They like to stay moist and not dry out. I even added sphagnum moss to my mix for these plants and mist them often.

I think these are really pretty plants, so I researched them like I do all the plants I want to add to my collection. From everything I've read, they are notoriously finicky and do best in terrariums cuz of the high humidity and moisture. I think it's in need of water, I'm pretty sure every plant needs to be watered after a repot to settle the soil. The only plants I wait a week or two to water are aloe and snake plants. Good luck!

I gave up on that plant. Tried it twice. It needs to live in extreme humidity. That will never happen indoors.

Waffle plants do love water, mine completely transformed when it could just relax in a self watering. Also, don’t be too discouraged because they can recover!

Oooh, this might be the perfect plant for those self watering pots! I haven't seen a waffle plant the size of those pots yet tho.
