I really am not trying to kill this lucky bamboo. I’ve struggled for a couple of years: 1. It was first brought home by my son, 3 stalks, and placed each in a bottle. Seemed to be ok but he wasn’t consistently changing the water and it didn’t look healthy so 2. I stepped in and planted it in a pot with soil. Did ok for a bit then wasn’t looking great, looked like it was drying out- so 3. I thought I’d try back in water as it looked like most people kept theirs that way. I cut the dry parts off & placed it in a jar with pebbles and it started growing new branches. Then it started looking pale and 4. I took it out and saw it had started to rot. So I cut the rotting part down…. 5. Now it’s in clean water for over 2 weeks and no roots. Leaves are starting to look a little pale. Should I just let it go?

  1. Random Strands

Spray roots with hydrogen peroxide before soiling again and or put it in Leca. Look up on YouTube for Leca. Give it another chance.
