Where do the Pink Quill pups grow from? My Pink Quill recently started turning green after her last bloom, and I’m assuming pups should be growing. How long does it take for them to grow?

It’s pretty. Going to look even better when it blooms! What kind of plant is this?

It’s a Pink Quill (Wallisia cyanea)! They start out pink then bloom purple flowers. Super unique!

This is a bromeliad and that one is in flower. The pups generally appear at the base of the plant and you should just leave them grow together as long as the parent plant is green. Or, if the pup gets large enough and has some roots then you can separate them.

How long do the pups take to grow (or at least become noticeable) though? I haven’t found any information regarding that in all my research and I don’t see any growing yet. I want to be sure it’s still healthy.

The information you're asking for is rather lengthy, so I'm going to refer you to a website that I find very helpful. Google the words "how to grow bromeliads the spruce". It will have information on care, propagating, how to get it to bloom and other stuff. I think you will find it very informative.

Mine’s looking the same way! I was hoping she was still doing okay! She gave me the most beautiful purple blooms about a month ago
