Don’t repot just because thats a task. Does your plant actually need it? Is it root bound? How long ago was its last repot? These plants like to be a little snug in their pots. So I would be checking those questions first before I repot. An easy way to check the roots is wait till a day after watering and gently pick the plant up out of the pot. Don’t pull hard, it should come out somewhat easily as a whole unit. If you determine that it does need it I would go up 1-2” larger then what you have it in now. So minimum the 7 1/2” pot.

This!! But a way I check to know if a plant needs repotting is to look at the drainage holes if there are any, if you see roots trying to grow out of them then that’s a good sign it’s time for a repot!

It looks great! Why mess with it? Just leave it alone until it starts showing signs of problems. Also, roots coming out the bottom is not a definitive sign the plant needs repotting. It could be roots living in the excess water in the drainage saucer. Always check all the roots before making a decision to repot.

If it needs a repot I would go up about 2 inches

I might go to 7 1/2 personally. Pothos grow roots really fast in general. But it depends on a few factors. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but it looks like your soil might be getting old and broken down. So I would replace it if that’s the case. If the plant looks root bound, move up to that 7 1/2. If not, refresh the soil as much as you can without breaking roots and put it back in the same pot
