So I noticed this color on my hoya leaf and when I went to check it out the leaf fell off and the one under it has some of the same thing on it. Does anyone know what it is and what I should do? Thanks for any help

It could be some type of a fungus called sooty mold or some other spot disease. Cinnamon and neem oil (not used together) can be useful in treating fungus on Hoya. Assuming that this is a fungus.

1 j'aimeIt could be a watering issue. Both overwatering and slightly under watering produces similar leaves on some thick leaf hoyas. Let the soil completely dry out between waterings. Check for pests to eliminate variable.
1 j'aimeLeaf spots do not necessarily rub off.
1 j'aimeGood to know. I use a wooden stick to check the soil before I water it so it could be to dry but I will also keep it away from other plants and treat it. Thanks for the help
