I most definitely over watered my ponytail - new to having plants. :-) Incredibly sad. Will this come back to life? I pulled all of the brown dead leaves out.

c.catif it was overwatered, the best thing to do would be to repot and check the roots. remove any black, mushy, dead ones, and give it a chunky, well draining succulant soil. water when its fully dry - i believe it falls into the succulant family, so its drought resistant and doesnt need water very often. you can check the moisture level with a wooden chopstick or skewer, although those might be way too small for this plant, lol. pot size should be 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball. hope this helps, and good luck!!

We all kill at least one plant from overwatering in the beginning. It’s a rite of passage - onwards and upwards, but I hope she makes it through!
