I finally find a fiddle leaf tree only to see that the entire batch at the store is covered with mealy bugs 😫😫

    Ask the store for a discount on them since they’re infested, then take it home and cleanse the plant then isolate it for a few weeks while it acclimates and you can watch for more mealybug activity. You can easily use a bathtub (if it fits) and fill it with an insecticidal soap water, then dunk the whole plant, pot and all, over and over until you wash off/kill all the bugs and eggs.

    I already have a monstera that got them. I def don’t want another plant lol. But thank u for that info. I’m gonna treat my other plant
