Shelves, cabinets, and hooks to hang plants
1 me gustaLil man opens my cabinets. Imma child proof them. Moved this one to a shelf after the last one he ate 😭 spraying the leaves doesn’t work either. Dude is a menace
1 me gustaI have a glass cabinet with a lock 😂 I get it though. My cats will even chomp on artificial plants
3 Me gustahilarious 🤣 my cat eats my spider plant. apparently it contains hallucinogenic properties for cats
2 Me gustai studied animal behavior in college, try a negitive reinforcement. Try laying tinfoil on the table your plants are on, or a spray them with a spray bottle when they get near the plants. This doesn’t hurt them but there is a negitive consequence when they get near the item.
3 Me gustaRead about the tinfoil. My whole living room is gonna be covered tomorrow 😅
3 Me gustalol good luck!
0 Me gustaI wouldn’t recommend negative reinforcement coming from you for cats (like a spray bottle). Cats are much more likely to associate you with the negative stimulus than their actions and it has a higher likelihood of damaging your relationship with the cat rather than discouraging their behavior.

the tin foil is something i've tried! i have heard lots from friends that it works. my cat, however, is a complete menace and does NOT care about the tin foil😂
2 Me gustaYeah the tin foil is good to try because they won’t associate it with you. I tried but my cats didn’t care.

i totally understand that frustration. its SUPER annoying !!! i have a small greenhouse in my apartment i keep in my bedroom. after watering, i leave it open and close the door to that room. besides that, any other plants i have kept out, my cat goes for
