HELP thrips ? Sticky diffenbachia. But leaves seems fine. I don’t think it’s mealy. It’s like clear pearls of residue… TIA !

    Sticky droplets can be a normal occurrence with many plants but it’s usually on bottom of the leaves. I’m seeing a lot of white debris on the entire plant, especially the stem. It looks like a mealy bug infestation. Why do you think it’s not mealy bugs? If it’s mealy then it needs quarantined immediately. And judging by the amount of white debris, any plants nearby will also be infested.

      I just checked your Planta profile. Looks like you have several succulents. Mealy bugs seem to love succulents. Closely watch for input from others and see if they agree with mealy bug issue. If so you need to start treatment right away.

      Thanks a lot !! I don’t thinks it’s mealy because it’s not powdery/little white fluffs…

      And it doesn’t dissolve in alcohol ! (Like a mealy)

    Hmm… yeah I would have thought mealy bugs too. I’d wipe down the leaves and stem with cotton and isopropyl alcohol. Then if it’s mealys you’re off to a good start and if not the leaves are nice and clean. Plus it’ll help kill other pests too.
