Struggling plant own

Hi everyone! Just bought this at my local Home Depot and I would love some advice as what to do next. Do I keep it in the pot it was in or repot? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

    I would repot it with chunky soil that current soil may not be the best, if it is root bound I would upgrade the pot size!
