I would go for plastic. I prefer terra cotta for plants that like to dry out

I potted my Peacock Calathea in a terra cotta pot last night & Rsttkesnake Calathea in terra cotta pot last night, Pilea Peperomiodes also in terra cotta last night but I have a bunch of other plants I need to repot

Gotchya. It won’t hurt for them to be in Terra cotta, you just might want to keep a closer eye to prevent them from drying out too much between watering

I agree that plastic would work better. I don’t use terracotta personally but they work well for cacti, succulents, etc (plants that need to dry out quickly)

Is it just me or? I find the plants I have put in terracotta stay moist longer 🤔🤔
