I was given a monstera from a friend and I know I have an infestation of fungus gnats how do I get rid of them? I need help

    Google “fungus gnat death drops.” I tried everything for six months, and that’s what did them in.

    Mosquito bits work great. Look up how to make it into a “tea”. Plus yellow sticky traps. And let it completely dry out between waterings until it’s resolved.

    I mix dish soap and cinnamon in and give the leaves and their soil a good spray and when I get them gone I repot them in soil mixed generously with cinnamon and also the top of the soil, I repot coz I hate knowing that even if it’s dead that it’s larva and it’s there!! If you’re not repotting them just water the cinnamon in and it never hurts to spray it down with neem oil and refresh the cinnamon on the soil every couple weeks.
