    I am a beach lover, along with my plant lover, so most of mine are named after things in the ocean, like reef, coral, and my monkey tails name is octopus. And then I also have some different ones like molar and curly.. my 6ft cactus is Dick because he looks like one with spikes

    I made the decision ages ago that if I get a plant from someone that I’ll name it after them somehow. My spider plants are all named after my 5th grade teacher with different variations of her name, but my favorite name is my peperomia that I was given by two of my coworkers, Malika and Marina, that I named Mike Pepperoni

    Lucky for me, a few of my favorites occur together in my plant listing. I also have one called "tiny sad monarch" (a Hoya carnosa "krimson queen" I almost killed); I bought a replacement when I was worried she wouldn't make it and named it "putative usurper"... But then the original survived!

    My money tree is named Penny Money my Snake Plant is named Cobra Kai and my Umbrella Tree is named Rhianna and my Spider Plant is named Charlotte aka Charlotte Web and my Fiddle Tree is named Newton for fig newtons 😆

    98% of my plants have “baby” in the name. “Save me baby” for the pothos I got on death’s door… but “baby girl 1” and “baby girl 2” were my first. “Pink baby” “Thai baby” “Monsta baby”… the list goes on. “Bikini baby” might be my fav. 😂👙

    I’ve got the Scooby Doo gang. My money tree is Fred, peace Lilly is Daphne, BOP is Velma, spider plant is Shaggy and my monstera is Scooby. I guess I should name one Doo. For other plants I have one named Uncle Ubb and Mr. Wee
