Any tips or tricks for a 4 year old monstera with no fenestrations. This is my first monstera.

    Found out there are 2 plants in a pot and I just repotted😒

    usually no fenestrations means not enough light. it could also mean that it hasn't had a chance to mature, but that's less likely. do you prune it often? more importantly, do you know what direction the window closest to your monstera faces?

      I just rescued it from someone who did not have a good place for it, it did not have good light, and it needed repotted.

      okay, that makes more sense. put it in a sunny spot near an east or west facing window and let it do it's thing for a while. you should see progress soon.

      The only window that is available is a south window and I have it 4 feet away from the window

    More light, fertilizer on schedule and consistent watering will make fenestration.

    ^ agree I did have the same issue. I trimmed off some of the little leaves gave it a good chunky soil mix some good fertilizer and now I have five shoots coming in
