    I don’t have an answer for you but I thought that was a hand coming out the ground. Like a Halloween decoration or something lol. Good luck saving it!

    Banana trees are very resilient so expect it to come back after some time

      You were right it did come thankfully, because there was no rain or else it had a chance of rot
