How do you feel it’s made worse? Could be too intense or not intense enough, could be that I won’t help the lowest plants and only help the top ones. If there’s been no change, two days is probably just not long enough to tell longterm.
いいね 1件Seems like the purple wicked plants in the middle have gotten extremely droopy
0件のいいねI don’t have one but on quick search it seems like the purple wicked plant likes mostly shade/less intense light, same for the monstera. You could reorder your setup so the sun-lovers are up top, or simply lower the intensity. How long do you leave the light on?
0件のいいねOver 6 hours
0件のいいねMax 4 hours per day for shade lovers. Or you could put diffusion paper/cloth over the light. Seems as though this group of plants doesn’t need supplemental light there?

I think your coleus just needs some water, they like to stay consistently moist, they droop if they dry out too much. As for the lighting, they can tolerate high light, but need to be watered more. I have mine under 12hr light and have to water about every 3 days. The more light, the brighter the colors will be. If you want them to be bushier, just pinch them.
2件のいいねWow yours are gorgeous!!!! What do you mean by pinch them? And how do I know when they need to be in a bigger pot?

Thank you! I love coleus, they're my favorite. Pinching is just taking your thumb and index finger, or a pair of clean shears and pinch off the top set of leaves and the central stem just above a pair of leaves.. It will encourage two new branches to grow from that point. I only do it to my indoor ones, no need to do it to the outdoor ones. They can stay in the pot you have it in for quite a while, until you see roots coming out of the bottom. If they start to flower,, I recommend pinching them off as well,, as they can weaken the plant and cause them to loose their vibrant colors and can also lead to leggier growth and diminished leaf quantity. Do you plan on putting them outside in the spring/summer? These are just some of my outdoor ones from last year in full sun, 90-100 degree heat. They are on a selfwatering system 2x a day, 10 min each. Maintenance free. In late fall, I'll take cuttings to keep indoor until next spring. If you have the opportunity to put them outside once it warms up, I highly recommend it.

My outdoor ones are in 12" pots, and as for propagating, you just cut off a 4- 6 inch stem ,remove lower leaves and place it in water until it roots, or you can place it directly into moist putting soil. Water roots usually develop within a few days.
