Hi, If it is getting legging under a light, the light isn’t strong enough. You want high moisture retention with peperomia. Don’t need too much bark.
1 LikeI have several peperomia. They are all under grow lights supplementing indirect light. In other words, lots of light but no direct sun. I use high grit succulent soil for them all. Jacks Gritty Mix with about 50% regular potting soil. I water when the pot is dry throughout.
2 LikesI’m looking at your photo with the 4 peperomias. Is that how gritty your mix is, or is that grit top dressing? Also what grow lights are you using?
0 LikesThat is a top dressing. I was repotting some succulents last nite. Was using the soil in the pic. For my peperomia I may add a little more standard potting soil. And that is also dependent upon the planter-terracotta vs ceramic. The grow lights on these is a decent off brand that I found. I usually have Barrinas for tropicals and Sansi for my succulents.
0 LikesI’ve had the obtusifolia for years and have taken many cuttings off of it. The Hope is absolutely beautiful plant. I’ve taken a few cuttings from it but they take forever to root. I trim it regularly.
