Got this philodendron today! I repotted her to check her for root rot etc since she did come from Walmart and I usually do that! I just hope I didn’t ruin her! Any tips on repotting plants with multiple different cuttings in one pot? There was about 30 different rooted cuttings in this pot and it seemed so hard to get them all to stay together well 😩😳

That is a difficult task. Trying to hold them in the pot while trying to add the soil. But I’m sure they will be good. The plant looks fine so even if you lose a couple leaves, all will be good. It’s a prolific plant.

I've been in a similar situation with a couple of pothos plants that I rescued. I ended separating it and giving some away during a plant swap. I did keep a bunch, 7-8 rooted stems. I used a hair clip to temporarily hold them together while adding the soil. I also trimmed longer ones and propped in a vase with water.

I was thinking of giving a few away and propping some! For $10 is was a steal!! I’ll have to try the hair clip! I’m gonna go get her a little bit of a thinner pot today!!

I’ve had this happen also. With hardy plants, honestly as long as they get IN the soil and are kept well, they seem to adjust and grow accordingly, even if at first they look a bit funny. I’ve had this happen with multiple philos and my trandescantia.

Thank you!! My tradescantia definitely looked funky too!! One of my pothos has curled leaves also and I have no idea how to fix it!!!
